(hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company‘)

informs that in accordance with Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, and EU Directive No. 2019/1937 of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report infringements of Union law, it has introduced an internal whistleblowing system (IWS).

The IWS enables in particular:

receiving notifications of possible illegal actions,
assessing notifications of possible illegal actions,
protecting the whistleblower from retaliation,
to resolve other miscellaneous problems.

Notifications can be made through the IWS:

in writing to the address of the Company, at the hands of the relevant person,
in writing by dropping the notification into one of the boxes marked ‘Notices’ located on the Company’s premises,
verbally (via the contact details of the relevant persons listed below),
in person, through a relevant person.

Notification to the relevant persons may be made in writing or by voice recording:

The Company is obliged to receive notifications from persons:

doing dependent work for it under the basic employment relationship,
doing volunteering for the Company,
doing professional practice, internship for the Company.

However, it does not exclude the receipt of notifications from persons:

performing self-employment activities for the Company,
performing rights associated with participation in a legal entity,
performing in the position of a member of a body of a legal entity,
performing tasks within the activities of a legal entity, in its interest, on its behalf or on its account, rights and obligations arising from a contract, the subject of which is the provision of supplies, services, construction work or other similar performance.

The introduction of the IWS is without prejudice to the possibility of making a notification to the Ministry of Justice.

For the above purposes the Ministry has set up the oznamovatel.justice.cz website, which is dedicated to the protection of whistleblowers and the resolution of related practical issues.
